Mutate IO Game Review

Mutate.io, or Mutatio, is a multiplayer version of agar.io. The players control creatures in blobs that they can feed, grow or mutate, and then use to take on other players.
This game was developed to participate in an event called the Pygame Community New Years jam (theme: mutation) It was my first attempt using the jam as a way to gain knowledge about networking as well as explore game development habits that I’m still not familiar with (e.g. lower global state).
This is currently the only server, the one I’m currently running on: 34.76.77.52, which I’ll probably be running for a month or so after release, maximum simultaneous clients that can be allowed is 10.

Versions: version 1.0.1 was published before the conclusion of the jamversion 1.0.2 included some minor bugs fixes in the server.py file that was causing unexpected disconnections from clients. “Slim” Versions are compiled version where I attempted to delete all DLLs, folders and other files I don’t believe you have to install to run the program. Use at your own discretion.
